This position can be based out of Ketchikan or remote. Initial training will take place in person at any of our Tongass FCU locations.
The VSR I will assist members through virtual channels that include online and mobile banking, email, chat, and phone. The VSR I will have superior member service and communication skills, both written and verbal. The VSR I is required to have proficient knowledge of all TFCU products and services and to have the ability to speak about them with members in a knowledgeable manner. The VSR I will be aware of the increased risk from working with members virtually and will follow strict policy and procedure to ensure they are reducing risk to the credit union and its membership. This position would require training in-branch at any Tongass FCU location, and once fully trained can be either hybrid or remote.
The Deposit Operations Specialist is required to have advanced knowledge of Tongass FCU Operations policy and procedures and can apply applicable rules and regulations for the various deposit account types. They will be responsible for the daily maintenance of member deposit accounts, ACH and wire transfers. They will be responsible for the oversight of tax-sheltered accounts, dormant accounts, and annual escheatment. The Deposit Operations Specialist must demonstrate a positive attitude and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and with attention to detail. The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) will work efficiently and effectively with the Branch Manager to create a positive member experience and work environment. The ABM will assist the Branch Manager in running a successful and compliant branch. The ABM will partner with the Branch Manager to carry out all member service functions, supervisory tasks, and reporting duties. The ABM will primarily oversee the teller line operations of the branch. Typically, the Assistant Branch Manager will have a minimum of 18-24 months of member services experience. The AMB will understand and ensure compliance with all credit union policies as well as state and federal credit union regulations. They will maintain member confidence and protect credit union operations by keeping all member information confidential. The ABM will contribute to the success of the Credit Union through self-motivation and leadership in team efforts.
Primary Functions and Duties:

· Clearly, openly, and regularly communicate with the Branch Manager.
· Be an account expert and provide exceptional service while assisting with all TFCU account types, including but not limited to; tax sheltered accounts, share certificates, business account services, merchant services and all personal and business account types.
· Assist with all personnel functions within the branch:
o Coach, lead, and motivate branch employees; promote participation in cross sales of TFCU products and services.
o Employee training including; new hire, knowledge maintenance, quarterly requirements, and other updates and changes in policy, procedure, and regulation.
· Learn and maintain expert knowledge regarding TFCU policy and procedure and have the ability to explain them to employees and members.

- Ensure all loan files adhere to policies, procedures, product guidelines and meet federal and state regulations, as well as investor requirements.
- Monitor pending mortgage loan files to ensure they are closed or canceled in a timely manner.
- Participate in marketing campaigns and loan promotions.
- Build relationships with local real estate agents and other real estate professionals through networking opportunities.

The Microsite Administrator position is a unique position within Tongass Federal Credit Union. A microsite is a self-standing mini branch. The Microsite Administrator will be tasked, and responsible for running the site in accordance with Tongass FCU policies, practices, and procedures. They will be required to multitask and understand several functions of the credit union, including teller functions, loan closing processes, state and federal regulations, and safety and security. The Microsite Administrator will have advanced knowledge in all Tongass FCU products, credit union procedures, and branch related policies. The Microsite Administrator will have the ability to clearly communicate with the Operations Department and assist with community outreach and microsite reporting and goal setting. They will maintain member confidence and protect credit union operations by keeping all member information confidential.
