Get Started with Tongass FCU
To our valued ALPS Members:
Our merger was final on February 1st, and you've been a Tongass member since that time. And now, our systems conversion is complete, and all systems are back up and running. So, you are now able to access your accounts and use your debit cards through Tongass FCU.
Here is what you can do now to get started! (Instructions are shown below)
- Activate your new Tongass FCU debit card (if you are a debit card user).
- Activate your new Tongass FCU Online Banking.
- Download and start using the Tongass FCU Mobile Banking App.
If you have questions about changes to various products and services (digital wallet, ACH transfers, apple pay/google pay, member numbers, etc.), answers are here.

We want to take a moment and extend our sincere apologies for the unexpected conversion issues that affected your debit cards and account access. From our entire team, we are very sorry for the frustrations and stress this caused our valued members.

Activate your new Tongass FCU debit card:
- Follow the instructions included in the mailer with your new debit card. The number to call is (800) 290-7893.
- When you activate your new Tongass FCU debit card, you will be asked to setup your PIN number. You can choose a new PIN or use your existing PIN.
- If you do not have the instructions or experience any issues with setup, please call us at (800) 960-8328.
If you have not received your debit card in the mail. You can stop by your local branch and we can issue you a new card. If you are not located near a Tongass FCU location, please call us.
If you received multiple debit cards: You received multiple cards because you were listed on multiple accounts. To resolve this, please call us or stop by a branch, and we'll let you know which card goes with which account.

Activate your online banking:
- Go to the online banking link (make sure to bookmark it for future use or access it via the orange button at the top of this site).
- You'll use your temporary login to get started. The temporary login is:
- Username: Your NEW MEMBER NUMBER - this will be your ALPS member number with a 90- prefix. For example, if your current member number is 12345, your new member number will be 9012345.
- Password: Your temporary password is set as the last 4 of the PRIMARY member's SSN. Please note, this may not be your SSN, if you are not the primary member on the account.
- Follow the prompts to complete your online setup.

Setup your mobile app:
- Visit the android or apple store and download the app. (Android) (Apple iOS)
- If you have already setup online banking, you'll use the username and password that you setup.
- If you have not setup online banking, you'll do it now. Use your temporary login to get started. The temporary login is:
- Username: Your NEW MEMBER NUMBER - this will be your ALPS member number with a 90- prefix. For example, if your current member number is 12345, your new member number will be 9012345.
- Password: Your temporary password is set as the last 4 of the PRIMARY member's SSN. Please note, this may not be your SSN, if you are not the primary member on the account.
- Follow the prompts to complete your online setup.
