About the Commons

Ketchikan's small business community space. A place to foster collaboration, education, and new ideas in a comfortable, affordable, and shared working environment. Opened in 2020, we are continuing to grow and expand our classes, events and services for Ketchikan area business owners, solopreneurs, micro-businesses and creatives.

Featuring:

Business Power Hours are free workshops on important business and career topics. All are open to the public and available in person or online.

Shop Local Saturday Markets feature different local vendors and artisans every month on Saturdays.

Ketchikan's First Co-Working space! Office and workspace rentals by the hour, day or week for anyone that needs a place to work away from the office or home or a place to meet, give presentations and more!

Farmer's Market happens throughout the summer months on Saturdays!

When visiting, be sure to check out one of the Ketchikan Community Gardens (sponsored by Tongass Federal Credit Union) right outside our back door.

Business Power Hours

Once monthly, we offer our free Business Power Hour workshops. Presented by local business experts, they cover a range of issues affecting small businesses in Southeast Alaska, from starting a business to writing a business plan, to managing bookkeeping and insurance. Open to the public, the presentations are available in person in Ketchikan or online. Previous Power Hours are available in our archive.
