Need some extra cash for the holidays?
Tongass FCU offers a convenient Skip-A-Pay option, allowing you to skip your December or January loan payment. This option is perfect for those times when you need a little payment relief, such as the holidays and end of year.
Eligibility
Every twelve months, members in good standing can skip a payment for one month on most personal loans (excluding real estate and credit card loans).
Restrictions
To be eligible, the following conditions must be met:
- No delinquencies over 30 days in the past 12 months.
- Loan must have at least 6 timely payments before the first skip.
- No lapse of insurance on collateral.
- Maximum of two skips during the life of a loan if there is Credit Life/Disability or GAP coverage.
- Other restrictions may apply.
Important Information
- Interest continues to accrue on your loan during the skipped month.
- Your loan maturity date will be extended by one month.
- You will save on interest if you choose not to skip a payment.
- A processing fee of $25 applies for each approved skip payment.
